Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S 2025

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S are taking the naked bike market by storm with significant upgrades for 2025. These models continue the legacy of the Panigale V4 but come with broader handlebars and less bodywork, creating an aggressive yet sleek look. One of the biggest updates? The move from a single-sided swingarm to the new Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm. This two-armed design not only reduces weight but enhances traction during acceleration, making corner exits smoother and faster.

Improved Chassis and Aerodynamics
The aluminum chassis of the 2025 Streetfighter V4 remains almost identical to the Panigale V4’s, with a slight change in geometry that improves handling. The front frame is about one kilogram lighter, contributing to the bike’s overall reduced weight. Additionally, the updated biplane winglets are designed to deliver even more downforce, which adds to stability at high speeds. Riders can expect better performance both on straight stretches and in corners due to these thoughtful engineering adjustments.

Powerful V4 Engine with a Refined Touch
At the heart of the Streetfighter V4 is the Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now pumping out 214 horsepower at 13,500 rpm. While the peak torque has slightly decreased from 123 Nm to 120 Nm, the revised engine tuning means a sharper, more responsive ride. This engine retains its 1,103 cubic centimeter capacity and 16-valve configuration, making it one of the most potent engines in its class. Ducati has also introduced a “more muted exhaust noise,” ensuring a less intrusive yet thrilling riding experience.

Advanced Braking and Electronics
Safety and control are paramount, and the Streetfighter V4 delivers on both fronts with the introduction of Brembo’s new Hypure brake calipers and Race eCBS, developed in collaboration with Bosch. These improvements offer better braking response and stability. Monitored by the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), electronic features are state-of-the-art, though adaptive cruise control and radar are absent, aligning with the bike’s performance-oriented nature.

Suspension Upgrades for Enhanced Comfort
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 S comes equipped with the latest Öhlins suspension technology, including the NIX 30 fork and TTX 36 shock absorber. This setup is paired with an Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 steering damper for optimal control. For the standard Streetfighter V4, Showa and Sachs provide the suspension components, offering a more budget-friendly but still high-performance option.

Weight Reduction and New Display
With forged aluminum wheels and a lithium-ion battery, the V4 S model is lighter than the standard version, tipping the scales at 189 to 191 kilograms without fuel. Both models come with a 16-liter aluminum tank and feature a new 6.9-inch TFT display that boasts a sleek 8:3 aspect ratio for better readability.

Pricing and Availability
The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S will be available starting March 2025. The base model will start at €24,990, while the V4 S will be priced at €27,990. The iconic Ducati Red will be the sole color option at launch, emphasizing the brand’s signature aesthetic.

Conclusion
The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S bring a host of performance enhancements that make these models more extreme and closer to the Panigale V4 than ever before. From the revolutionary two-armed swingarm and improved suspension to the powerful 214-hp V4 engine and cutting-edge electronics, these bikes are built for thrill-seekers who demand power, precision, and innovation. Get ready for an unmatched riding experience when they hit the market in March 2025.
